The 2015 Earth First! Winter Rendezvous Is Coming! Greetings from colonially occupied Chumash territory in what is known as Santa Barbara, California. Here, in this serene meeting of coastal sage scrub and mountainous chaparral, we will be hosting the 2015 Earth First! Winter Rendezvous.

 

Young Navajos Stage 200 Mile Journey For Existence. At dawn on January 6, 2015, a group of young Diné (Navajo) women and their supporters gathered at sunrise near the fire department at the base of Dził Na’oodiłii (Huerfano Mountain). From there the group embarked on a 200-mile trek through eastern New Mexico—a tribute to the 150th anniversary of the tragic “Long Walk.”

 

Activists Tell Citigroup To Give Up Their License To Steal. Today, Jan. 28, an activist marching band and NYC street performers delivered a petition signed by more than 100,000 consumers to Citigroup’s New York headquarters, calling on the firm to remove terms in their contracts that deny customers their right to a day in court.
