(Un) Happy Aniversery ObamaCare!
This week marks five years since President Obama singed the “Patient Protection and Affordable Care Act” (ObamaCare) into law. Five years of crashed websites, corporate bailouts, new taxes, lose of medical privacy, and, of course, people who liked their healthcare losing their care or being unable to find a doctor and having problems finding an adequate replacement plan. No wonder one of the architects of the plan admitted that a lack of transparency was key to ObamaCare’s passage.
Of course, the health care system was seriously flawed before ObamaCare passed, but ObamaCare has made the situation much worse. Instead of increasing government involvement, Congress should restore a free-market in health care and put the individual back in charge.
Campaign for Liberty will continue to work to repeal and replace ObamaCare.
