In the past, I’ve written several articles that I feel strongly about but today, I’d like to share with you something that transcends the course of time.
In order to prepare you for what I’m about to share, I’d first like to ask you a question.
Who are you?
According to the United Nations, the world’s population reached 7 Billion on October 31, 2011.
If you are reading this article, then you are part of this 7 billion. Somehow your existence, in the midst of 7 billion people, has become revelant to you and those around you. You have five senses and you preceive reality almost the same as those around you. But no one preceives the same reality.
In your world, you have family and friends, acquaintances and distant relatives. At times, when you glance at people around you, you might wonder why you are who you are and why your’re not a different person. Perhaps, a person you know or a person that you don’t.
Whether or not you like you existence, the fact is…you exist. You are a living, breathing, intelligent human being. Remarkably, you and the other 699.99 billion people that exist around you share the same DNA structure. In a sense, we are all related, like it or not.
It doesn’t matter the color of your skin or the language you speak, we are all part of the same DNA gene pool.
Now, to answer the question, “Who are you?”. Lets consider the possibility that you had no control over your embodiment. You are who you are by chance. Does the importance of you existence diminish due to the color of your skin or the language you speak? Absolutely Not.
I attest that your existence is significant regardless of color of skin or the language you speak. You’re just as much a human as the next human. All lives matter. DNA is DNA, only blind people see differently.
Only you control your destiny. You exist for a reason. Stand up. Be proud. Raise your chin.
The only thing that frightenes the establishment more is unification of races. Guess what, we’re all brothers and sisters. We all breath the same air. We’re one of the same. Let freedom ring.
