VA Senate to Vote on Constitutional Carry Today?

Dear friend,I have some good news…State Senator Dick Black (R-Loudoun) has introduced Constitutional Carry this year. Constitutional Carry means if you can legally possess a gun for self-defense, then you can carry it without having to first beg for government permission. It was recently signed into law in Alaska, Arizona, Wyoming, Vermont, and Maine. And the first step to passing it in Virginia is voting on it. Currently, if you want to carry a concealed weapon in Virginia to defend yourself and your family, you need permission from the state. . . Why does the state discourage law-abiding citizens from carrying a concealed firearm? You and I both know criminals do not ask for permission to legally carry a firearm.
