When we consider God’s promises it is important to remember they do not necessarily apply to everyone. Rather, they apply to those who love our Father, those who seek after Him and those who accomplish the tasks required of us in His Word. “And we know that for those who love God all things work together for good, for those who are called according to his purpose,” (Romans 8:28).
The next element is to understand what God’s promises are. God Himself has said, “Put me in remembrance: let us plead together: declare thou, that thou mayest be justified,” (Isaiah 43:26). God is saying, tell Me what My promises are so I may Bless you with them. God knows what His promises are, but He wants to see if you know them or not.
