Music is the Language of the Soul.

     Your face is an expression of your inner feelings, and so is your music. The melodies that you compose are shaped by your emotions, and your emotions are the face of your soul. So, to some extent, your spiritual yearning and success can be shared with others even years after you are gone. All they have to do is to sing your tune the way you did. Although this is true for everyone, it is especially true when the music is made by a Rebbe, or someone who has attained some notable degree of spiritual growth. This is why Chassidim sing their rebbe’s nigunim (tunes) over and over again.
