(Before It's News)

About two thirds of humanity follows either one of these men. The Muslims claim that the name of Muhammad is mentioned in the Bible. Jesus as a prophet is mentioned in the Koran. Is there anything common between them? Could their teachings and works be compared in any way?

Jesus did not come to make a religion. Jesus Christ came to fulfill what the former prophets who lived before him had spoken in the past. Jesus was not sent by God to build an earthly kingdom or an empire. He didn’t even try it. He said, “My kingdom is not of this world”.

Lord Jesus began his ministry as it was spoken about him by the prophet Isaiah, saying ,“The Spirit of the Lord God is upon Me, Because the Lord has anointed Me To preach good tidings to the poor; He has sent Me to heal the brokenhearted” (Isaiah 61:1-5) and so forth. This was his ministry. Lord Jesus did not come to conquer the world with the sword. Neither did he teach nor train his disciples to do so. He did not send out his disciples with swords to fight against people and take their properties and lands.

Jesus came with the Gospel of the kingdom of God .He taught his followers that doing the will of God is the only way to enter into the kingdom of heaven. He trained them to follow in his footsteps, to do the same works he did and to teach others the things that he taught them. Lord Jesus filled his disciples with the Spirit of God which enabled them to do the works he himself did. Jesus Christ himself was filled with the Spirit of God. He began his mission saying that the Spirit of God was upon him to do the works of Him who sent him .Lord Jesus sent out his disciples with instructions to heal the sick, to cast out evil spirits from people who were tormented by them. To cleanse the lepers, and to raise the dead and so forth. Lord Jesus himself opened the eyes of the blind, made the mute to speak and the deaf to hear, and the lame to walk. Lord Jesus raised the dead. In his Name demons and evil spirits were cast out of people who were oppressed by them. He sent his disciples to do the same things and to teach all nations and to preach the good news of the kingdom to all.

Jesus came to deal with the powers of darkness. He was sent to deal with the major issues that bothered mankind from the beginning of creation, Such as sin, sickness, Satan, self, Hades, death and all that. At end of his ministry Jesus told his disciples, “Be of good cheer, I have overcome the world”. This he said, not because he conquered a good part of the world. But before he leaves the world Jesus overcame all the known enemies of mankind. The kingdom of darkness reigned since the beginning of the world, with no one and nothing to resist. Jesus came to say that’s enough. He spoke about binding the strong man, and taking his possessions. The strong man Jesus bound was Satan himself. Jesus came to destroy the works of the devil. Until the coming of Lord Jesus Christ Satan did not know what his fate was. But Jesus made it known.

Lord Jesus dealt with the sins of mankind by providing atonement for sins on the cross. Jesus died on the cross as the Lamb of God who takes away the sins of the world. According to the law of Moses, a lamb offered on the altar of God dies for the sins of the people. It was written in the Law of Moses like that. Lord Jesus said that he came to fulfill the Law and the prophets. This is why John the Baptist cried out when he saw Jesus, “Behold the Lamb of God who takes away the sins of the world.

Jesus dealt death with resurrection. When he heard Lazarus was dead Lord Jesus said, “I am the resurrection and the life. He who believes in Me, though he may die, he shall live.” Jesus not only said this, but also went to his tomb and raised Lazarus from the dead. This man Lazarus had been dead for four days and was buried in a tomb. Lord Jesus gave the mankind the hope of eternal life by his own resurrection. When Jesus died, He came out of the tomb on the third day and said, “I have the keys of  death and Hades.”

Jesus came to a world filled with darkness saying, “I am the light of the world he who believes in me will not walk in darkness but have the light of life.” This world is full of darkness and Jesus Christ is the only light that shines in this world filled with darkness.

He came to a world filled with hunger and said, “I am the bread of life. Whoever comes to me will never go hungry, and whoever believes in me will never be thirsty.” Jesus offered the bread of life and the living water to those who came to him.

Jesus came with the Gospel of the kingdom of God .His life was all about doing the will of God and glorifying the One who sent him into the world. Jesus taught the disciples to do the will of God. He told them that when the Kingdom of God fully comes those who are not found doing the will of God are in big danger. He said that at the end of the age he will send his angels and they will sort out the wicked from among the righteous and cast them into the furnace of fire. Jesus came with the message of the good news of the kingdom of God. Jesus taught the principle of sowing and reaping. Jesus came to sow the good seed which is the message of the kingdom of God. The harvest comes at the end of the age.

Behold, He is coming with clouds, and every eye will see Him, even they who pierced Him. And all the tribes of the earth will mourn because of Him. Even so, Amen” Jesus Christ is coming back to rule and reign on earth as King of kings and the Lord of lords for a thousand years. He is coming to raise all the dead who are in the graves. He is coming to judge both the living and the dead.Jesus Christ is the One God appointed to judge the world.

Actually about half the total global population not two thirds. There isn’t a single scrap of evidence that either Jesus or Muhammad existed, they have that in common and Christianity and Islam were both created in the 6th century CE, they are both sexist, racist and are thought and belief intolerant political dictatorships, are about the only things they have in common.

The Jesus story is identical to that of the long existing mystery cults, but closest match is Dionysus. Jesus was anti capitalist and Muhammad was a trader, so nothing in common there.

“Jesus Christ is coming back to rule and reign on earth as King of kings and the Lord of lords for a thousand years.”

Why would he change his mind after refusing the offer? I’m with Denis Diderot when it comes to priests and kings. “Man will never be free until the last king is strangled with the entrails of the last priest.”

    • Sod freedom. And Jesus wasn’t anti-capitalist. The Murican pretending to be Icelandic here just wants your enslavement to his owners.

      • Bog standard Society of Jesus Warrior pish spouter.

If Pix is Jesuit trained, Ignatius should get his money back.

Jesus was very much an anti-capitalist. Overturning the money lenders table, he told people to give to the poor, if they ask for your shirt, also give them your coat, their need is greater than yours. He didn’t say stuff the poor, get into debt with the money lenders turning yourself into their debt slave, did he? They murdered him for it, same as they murdered Kennedy for the same. The last president of America to try to stop them.

If I gave a single sh*t over your belief of my comments, I wouldn’t be using a pseudonym, but my full details, qualifications, places of work etc. I don’t because I wouldn’t be able to speak freely. eg ‘eff off you silly twat’. You can take my word or not. It makes no difference to the truth, even if nobody knew what that is, it wouldn’t make the truth any less true.

  • Because he wanted to prepare a people for the kingdom, and the sowing and harvest has to take place until the end of the age.To bring the will of God into the world is what Lord Jesus and the disciples worked for.
