It has branches in Washington, D.C. and a membership that counts senators, congressmen and billionaires The Washington D.C. group is called the American Council For Public Policy and it was a backer of George W.Bush in his bid for the presidency. In 2002, ABC News ran a one hour segment on the structure and aims of this group titled "A Vast Cabal".
When you read the goals and plans for government, espoused by the Reconstructionists, you will want to bar the doors. They are radical and almost unreal in their pronouncements. Periodically, we are threatened with radical elements. This is one of the worst and most powerful. They are backed by Sun Myung Moon, a billionaire and the man who furnished North Korea the money to develop a nuclear weapon. His group owns over a thousand American businesses and have deep tentacles in the halls of government. Most of you will remember him as the founder of religious fanatics formed in the 60s called the "Moonies."
