(Before It's News)

Nevada has changed the rules for water rights, water in Nevada once belonged to the publc.

The Nevada water right law once said (use it or lose it) If  you have a water right in Nevada you must put it

to benifical use in 5 years or you lose the water right.  that law was too keep people from hording and from keeping water hostage. It was put in place to keep privet companys from buying up all the water rights and holding them hostage.

As of 2008 you  no longer need to put the water right to benifical use there for un-doing the water is public property.

a company now can buy up all the water rights and sit on them, sell them at extream prices or use them for coruption.

a company no longer has to worry about not puting water to benifical use. without water rights no new homes or buildings  can be built.
