Baby P’s killer mother Tracey Connelly is too scared to leave jail on day release for fear she will be attacked.
Connelly, 31, jailed for letting her son Peter be tortured to death, will be eligible for trips out in August when she has served four-and-a half-years of her minimum five-year jail term.
But she has told prison staff she is so afraid of reprisals she may not EVER want to leave.
Connelly became one of Britain’s most hated women when it was revealed how her sadistic lover Steven Barker, 36, tortured her 17-month-old son Peter to death while she spent days drunk on vodka and watching porn.
When Peter died in 2007 he had more than 50 injuries including a broken back. Barker’s brother Jason Owen, 40, who was also jailed over the killing has since been released.

A prison source said: “She is simply terrified of going into the outside world.
“She knows how much she is hated and doesn’t want to face the public. The Parole Board also has to be satisfied that she is no longer a danger to the public. “Nobody will force her, but days out are intended to help reintegrate offenders back into society.”
Connelly is now at Foston Hall Prison in Derby, where inmates are prepared for release. Karen Matthews, who kidnapped her daughter Shannon, was freed from there last month.
Within days her new appear- ance was emblazoned on the front page of newspapers.
The horrific death of Baby P made headlines all over the world after he was found dead in a blood-splattered cot.
Nazi-obsessed Barker, now serving a life sentence for raping a two-year-old girl, had even trained his Rottweiler to attack Peter.
The Sunday Mirror revealed last year that Connelly has had six marriage proposals since she was locked up.
In letters to one pen-pal she revealed that her weight had ballooned to 19½ stone after gorging on cakes and snacks.
Connelly also admitted she had failed little Peter, writing: “I wish I could turn back the clock and change things.”

I hope she walks not even two steps out of the jail, and get's shot in the face. Let's be real here. I will say she won't live one year after her release date. If she does, remember my name.

I feel only disdain for this trash. I hope whatever days she has left are spent in misery, agony, & depression. Maybe she'll do the world a favor and off herself.

Bring back capital punishment for this woman , or mabye a new law called torture punishment, that little boy didnt deserve to go through what he did, the useless dropkick should have been steralised………..

There should be a desert island where pond life like her and her boyfriend and his brother along with Karen Matthews should be put away from society because she should not be allowed to breath the same air as everyone else. As for her having her children back well if Social services don't learn now they never will, one trip to Peter's bedroom by the Social Worker would have told the whole story.
She is and always will be low life scum, who scrounge from society and will never ever have anything to contribute to it. As for days out try the zoo.
