We are 100% in agreement with this Staten Island borough president. The taxpayer-subsidized American Red Cross is a sham and a fraud of the highest order. We know so from our Dad’s experiences in WWII in No. Africa. The Red Cross SOLD the donated coffee and stale pastries to the US servicemen!
Tax-sheltered “charities” are ALL taxpayer ripoffs – abolish these IRS privileged subsidies & reduce or even abolish our government’s (yours) indebtedness!
