‘Don’t Accept Cover-Up Of Benghazi-Gate’
Petition launched to embolden lawmakers to get the whole truth
WASHINGTON – With Republican lawmakers on the retreat after the drubbing the party took in the Nov. 6 election, a petition calling for a full and complete congressional investigation into Benghazi-gate is being launched today on WND.
Congressional hearings are set to begin this week into one of the most colossal failures of national security – the attack on the U.S. consulate in Libya that resulted in the deaths of four Americans including Ambassador Chris Stevens on the 11th anniversary of 9/11.
“There’s an old saying in politics: The cover-up is worse than the crime,”explained Joseph Farah, editor and chief executive officer of WND. “Barack Obama’s administration has been in full cover-up mode since the day of this attack. It’s time for the truth to be told to the American people, but that is not likely to happen unless Congress demands it.”
The petition demands a full investigation of the Sept. 12, 2012, attack on the U.S. consulate in Benghazi, Libya.
