Cops In Trouble For Profiling Their Own Police Chief: Three-star NYPD Chief Douglas Zeigler

Nobody’s above being profiled by bigoted cops. Not even a black police chief who was being profiled by his own officers.
The latest case involved a bunch of NYPD officers. They reportedly ordered the highest ranking uniform chief out of his vehicle. This despite the fact that he was in a department vehicle, with his badge on a chain around his neck.
Are these people so bigoted, so blind, that they don’t beleve a black man in an official SUV could be a legitimate officer, on legitimate business?
News sources jumped on the report like flies on a dead fish:
At least one cop has been disciplined for ordering the NYPD‘s highest-ranking uniformed black officer out of his auto while the three-star chief was off-duty and parked in Queens, the Daily News has learned.
“How you can not know or recognize a chief in a department SUV with ID around his neck, I don’t know,” a police source said. Read more
