South Carolina Pub Owner Enrages An Entire Nation With Just One Sign

“NO CONCEALED WEAPONS ALLOWED”
Unfortunately, gun owners across the U.S. have become accustomed to seeing anti-gun signs on the doors and windows of businesses. Rarely though has any anti-gun sign sparked such national outrage like the sign that the owner of Backstreets Pub & Deli put in his window.
This is not the normal sign with the gun crossed out on it, no, this sign reads “No concealed weapons allowed,” “If you are such a loser that you feel a need to carry a gun when you go out, I don’t want your business. Douchebag.”
Rightfully so, American gun owners nationwide are highly upset with the pub owners choice in words and have shown their displeasure through the establishments “Yelp” page. Backstreets Pub & Deli now has a one star rating and a countless number of negative comments about the business.
The owner of the pub, who only identified himself as Pete, is showing the yellow stripe down his back and has begun backpedaling. He said the sign was only temporary and that he regrets using the rude language.
As “Bella D.” who gave a “one star rating” states in her Yelp comment, this backpedaling isn’t fooling anyone.
I am boycotting your restaurant. Never, EVER will I eat here again (food sucked anyway, and it tasted like d*uche). You are such a loser. Do you realize more people are against you than they are for you? Of course you are going to backpedal and pretend you’re sorry, because you are losing business! No one will fall far that line, buddy.
And for the record, your pathetic sign showed us exactly what you think of our men and women in uniform, who fight to keep our Constitution alive. You just spit on them, you know it?

Law abiding citizens who legally carry weapons to defend themselves as guaranteed by the Second Amendment of the Constitution are not “losers” and “douchebags.” Backstreets Pub & Deli has essentially equated those who legally carry a concealed weapon to common criminals and thugs. Yes, these guys have the right to practice their First Amendment right of free speech by hanging this distasteful sign, but I also have a right to warn others about your crappy customer service.

Now is the time to write a sincere apology for calling legal gun owning citizens “douchebags”. Because these “douchebags”, just put you out of business.
We can only hope that “Chad S.” is right.
While “Pete” the bar owner has a small amount of local support for the sign, the largest majority of the surrounding communities and nation is highly upset.
