“She’s Clearly Angry” Hillary Responds To NEW FBI Probe Into Emails!
Hillary Clinton forcefully called on the FBI Friday to launch “the full and complete facts” about its assessment of emails associated to her personal server.
In her first public comments since FBI Director James Comey informed lawmakers earlier in the day that the bureau is going over new emails tied to the server, Clinton stated it’s “imperative” that the agency supply more particulars about what it’s doing in the final days of the campaign.
“Voting is underway, so the American people deserve to get the full and complete facts immediately,” Clinton stated at a brief news conference in Des Moines, Iowa, incorporating it was “imperative that the bureau explain this issue in question, whatever it is, without any delay.”
Clinton stated she was “confident whatever (the emails) are will not change the conclusion reached in July,” when Comey stated he wouldn’t propose criminal charges in the matter.
Still, the Democratic nominee’s campaign was shaken by Comey’s shift Friday – just 11 days before the election – and the press conference mirrored how seriously she’s taking the problem. The newly found emails are part of an investigation into Anthony Weiner, based on law enforcement sources. Weiner, the disgraced ex – congressman, recently separated from top Clinton aide Huma Abedin after a sexting occurrence.
The FBI and the New York Police Department have opened early investigations of allegations that Weiner, a ex – New York Democratic congressman, swapped sexually explicit text messages with a reportedly underage girl.
The emails in question were sent or received by Abedin, based on a law enforcement official. There were a “considerable number” of emails being analyzed from at least one device shared by Abedin and Weiner, the official stated. A separate official detailed it as thousands of messages.
The FBI is hunting at whether or not any of the newly found emails will have an influence on the investigation into Clinton’s server that was closed earlier this year.
After suggesting in July that the Department of Justice not press charges against the former secretary of state, Comey stated in a letter to eight congressional committee chairmen Friday that investigators are reviewing newly found emails that “appear to be pertinent” to the email probe.
