Natively BlackBerry Bridge allows you to use native applications on the BlackBerry PlayBook including BBM and email.  It looks like a new application is on the way called DesktopBridge.  The application allows you to use Bridge applications on your PC by leveraging SSL.  Based on the information provided, it looks like a Bridge session must be opened to the PlayBook from your smartphone, and then you can connect to your PC via web browser.  So I guess this is a pretty cool solution for getting BBM on your computer.  I’d like to see how smooth it operates.  The application is still not out and is pending approval according to N4BB.  Keep your eyes open for the app!
