We’ve seen quite a few custom PCs here at GS. It’s somewhat of a passion of ours; we love searching the world wide web for the coolest, most “out there” custom rigs. For today at least, the award of “coolest custom rig” goes to PC modder “Asphiax” and his AT-AT Walker mod.
The guts of this work of art include an Intel Core i7-2600K CPU, Sapphire 6870 GPU and 8 GB of RAM. Digging deeper, the Intel brain is kept cool thanks to a Koolance 370 CPU waterblock along with mosfet and a Heatkiller NB/SB waterblock, and finally, an XSPC pump + 2 x 240 radiators and 4 x 120mm Enermax Fans. For Arduino fans out there, you’ll be pleased to know the two red laser canons atop the AT-AT’s head are powered by just that.
A work of art if we’ve ever seen one. Agree?
