U.S. Cellular Rolls Out New Voice/Data Plans.

U.S. regional carrier, U.S. Cellular, is sailing into the weekend with a slew of new voice/data plan offerings ready for the taking.
Voice & SMS
- $50/month: 450 voice minutes/unlimited messaging
- $70/month: 1,000 minutes/unlimited messaging
- $90/month: Unlimited minutes and messaging
Data
- 300 MB: $15/month
- 2 GB: $25/month
Tethering Packages
- 4 GB: $45/month
- 5 GB: $50/month
- 10 GB: $90/month
In a somewhat unique twist, U.S. Cellular overages won’t be charged per MB or GB. Instead, U.S. Cellular will simply charge $10 to gain access to the next tier of data.
The new plan offerings were actually made available a few days ago on May 1st.
