Assus Transformer Pad Infinity to be Available in the UK later next month
The price and availability of Assus new slate has been know in the US but potential UK users have been left in the dark over the same issue. But the Taiwan company has just announced that the product will now be made available for UK buyers from the 31st of August for the price of about six hundred pounds. They can now get it from Amazon once it is launched.
The rebranded Pad Infinity with the name of Transformer TF700 has gotten rave reviews. The 64GB and docks that have been included has made it one of the most talked about tab in a while now. It comes with a 1920 x 1200 display.
The Assus Transformer Pad Infinity was first shown to the public in January. It is a full Android Tablet with a full HD display. The glass is made from Corning Gorilla technology and it is being run on Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich.
It is designed as a tool for the mobile consumer of digital products but it can also be used as a notebook as it comes with a unique detachable Mobile Dock accessory. Once docked you can get some serious wore done with a full qwerty keyboard, multi-touch touchpad and USB/SD card slots. Moreover, the total battery life when docked is rated at 14 hours.
The power house of this tablet is the Tegra 3 T33 quad-core CPU. It also integrates a 12 Core GeForce GPU. This extra battery saver helps to sustain your battery life by handling low power consumption tasks in the system like active standby, playing music and video.
The quad-core processor runs on 1.6 GHz of power to drive this machine. It resolution makes it just right for viewing full HD videos, and playing HD games.
