(Before It's News)

Our developer community does a pretty darn good job building things up to make our devices not only faster, but get some of the latest Android goodness ahead of the company’s schedules. That doesn’t mean that a kernel source won’t make life a little bit easier for them to work with though. Samsung has recently made the AT&T Galaxy S II Ice Cream Sandwich kernel source code available for all those dev’s and aspiring devs to get their hands on and start tinkering with. While we wish they would push out some early Jelly Bean source and really help the devs ramp up our custom ROM’s, we will gladly take what we can get.

If you are eager to check it out and start tweaking it to your liking for your next release then you should point your browser over to Samsung’s Open Source Release Center. Have fun and happy coding.
