Folks at Apple can relax for now for a Commission review this past Friday has ruled that Apple didn’t infringe on Motorola WiFi design. Only last month a judge at an International Trade Commission (ITC) said in an initial ruling that the American technology giant had copied some parts of Motorola WiFi design.
It had raised suspicions that if the ruling is held, Apple could face a trade ban. The latest ruling in favour of Apple has ruled out any possibility of an immediate ban. However, trouble isn’t over for Apple. The ITC has asked a judge to review the recent decision. Being a legal process, it’s going to take a long time. Which means the final verdict may well be announced in 2013.
