With a company such as the Japan based Mouse Computer, it is actually difficult to keep up with the amount of new laptops they launch each year, sure, in many cases a new laptop is really an update of an older version, but none the less they do not keep still too long at Mouse Computer. This latest machine is the 17.3 inch LB-D720B and as expected, it has a whole lot of options to choose from, which makes it difficult to pick out just one version of the model to look at. Therefore, it seems that the entry level is the way to go with this fully loaded, yet reasonably priced laptop
The LB-D720B has a 17.3 inch screen with a glossy full HD LCD display a 1920 × 1080 of pixel resolutions and there is a built in 1.3 mega pixel web camera and microphone. It will be running on the Microsoft Windows 7 Home Premium operating system with SP1 64-bit and is powered by the high end Intel Core i7-3610QM processor with 2.30 GHz to 3.30 GHz clock speed, 6 MB cache while supporting the Intel HM76 Express chipset and with the video graphics coming from the NVIDIA GeForce GT650M graphic card with a video memory of 1 GB.
There is 8 GB to 16 GB of DDR3 PC3-12800 Internal memory available and a 500 GB hard disk drive (HDD) for all of the storage requirements. Communications are covered by the IEEE 802.11 b / g / n, Bluetooth V4.0 + LE and the 10/100/1000 Mbps Gigabit LAN. While connectivity offers two fast USB 3.0 ports one with eSATA combo port, one standard USB 2.0 port, D-Sub port and the important HDMI out port. The LB-D720B measures up at 277.5 mm (D) x 413 mm (W) x 17.1 mm to 41.5 mm (H) and it weighs in at a fairly heavy 3.2 kilos with the built-in lithium-ion battery that Mouse Computer say will offer up to three hours of power.
Currently this model is on sale in the home market of Japan, where Mouse Computer has competitively priced it to start at around $1,000!
