Windows Phone 8 Nokia “Arrow” (Or Just A Prototype) Leaked?

(Before It's News)

Nokia has a lot to live up to with the Lumia 800/900 follow-ups. And if the leaked image above which allegedly shows us the first Windows Phone 8 device (dubbed “Arrow”) is legit, it will be a story of evolution rather than revolution. Whether or not you believe Nokia really needs a “revolutionary” design after the Lumia 800/900 quite a bit of attention away from the iOS/Android user base is irrelevant. Nokia appears to have found a hit and is sticking close by for the time being, mildly adjusting the design moving forward.

For what it’s worth, Phonearean’s sources claim that the yellow device above is actually different than the multi-colored device on the right, with the aforementioned one being a more entry-level device (if it is real at all). The other possibility, says the source, is that it’s simply a prototype – something we’ve seen happen a time or two before as well.

As long as Nokia doesn’t get stuck in a rut like some other manufacturers have over the last few years *cough* Motorola *cough*, we don’t see why Nokia can’t run with this Lumia-like design a little while longer. Apple has kept the original iPhone 4 design around for a couple years now (and the upcoming 6th-gen iPhone looks to be just a stretched version of the 4). Thoughts?
