It is that time again. Time to look at that lovely pie chart to see where each tasty dessert stands in the Android community. Obviously we hope that Jelly Bean and ICS will begin to dominate, but Gingerbread still holds tough at 57.5%. Gingerbread is going to probably be dominating for quite a while still, but a nice increase of ICS and Jelly Bean has hit devices in a combined effort of 22%. This is thanks to our awesome developers that our busting their butts to get us the latest and greatest in Android awesomeness.

1.6 | Donut | 4 | 0.4% |
2.1 | Eclair | 7 | 3.7% |
2.2 | Froyo | 8 | 14% |

2.3.3 – 2.3.7 | 10 | 57.2% | |

OEMs are trying their best to get updates rolling out on their phones, but we all know it is never fast enough for us. The fact that Gingerbread is getting close to being two years old, it still comes as quite a shock that it is still dominating the Android platform. If only those unfortunate ones only knew the illustriousness of Android 4.0 and 4.1, maybe they would be a little more satisfied with their devices. It will be a better world when everyone is running Android 4.0 and above. It just might create world peace.
Let us know which OS you guys are running on your devices.
