Hot off of Microsoft and Nokia’s event earlier today comes Google and Motorola ready to try and make you forget about Redmond and friend (as well as a new iPhone getting unveiled next week). And you know what? While the hardware unveiled isn’t the most striking in terms of visual eye candy, certain features like a new “MAXX” edition handset with insanely long runtime are enough to pique our interest. So a few of Motorola’s 2011 devices aren’t getting Jelly Bean. Feel burned? Don’t. Motorola announced today that owners of 2011-made devices that aren’t getting Google’s latest and greatest 4.1 OS will be eligible for a $100 credit towards any of the new RAZR devices announced today. Impressive, no?
