A Look At Myntra.com’s Latest TV Ad Campaign

(Before It's News)

Myntra.com, the Bangalore based fashion e-commerce store has followed up it previous TV campaigns with a brand new one which seeks to educate their audiences about the world of online shopping is very different from normal shopping.

Their previous campaign sought to dispel the myths and fears about online shopping. The new TVCs are stepping up from that to communicate this campaign message to audiences – ‘Real Life Mein Aisa Hota Hai Kya?’. They have released 2 TVCs in this leg of their campaign. Both of them are embedded below. Take a look.

The thought behind the TVCs is nothing very exceptional. E-commerce firms like Flipkart and Jabong have been trying to drive home these points since the beginning of their mainline campaigns. The fact that e-commerce sites make it much easier and beneficial for the end consumer to purchase stuff is known very well. The TV campaigns are designed to spread those thoughts to even those who have not yet tried Indian e-commerce websites yet. The commercials are not bad, in fact they drive home the message very well. There is no excess, in your face communication like the Jabong ads. However, I feel Myntra should have explored a more creative way of taking their message to the people instead of depending on a template which has been used by many e-commerce brands which seek to educate the masses about online shopping.

What are your thoughts about Myntra’s TV campaign? I would love to hear them.
