This is quote of the week for me. Andy Dessler, who got it wrong with his rebuttal of Roy Spencer and Danny Braswell’s paper on cloud feedback last year, said this in an interview with PBS:
There is some legitimate uncertainty, of course, but that is whether the climate will warm four or eight degrees over the coming century.
Now, I don’t know which planet Andy is personally in orbit around, but it sure isn’t the one I’m living on. I assume he’s talking in Fahrenheit here rather than Centigrade, but talk of warming of this magnitude on any temperature scale is all Greek to me. Steady as she goes Andy, don’t pop a fuse.
