(Before It's News)

Big Bird appears at the news headlines of late, and the time is ripe for yet another Muppet for getting some face time. The Cookie Monster faces can be viewed plastered over the face of Mercury. Well it is the way it is appearing not of any much concern. This image has been received from spacecraft MESSENGER already orbiting Mercury. The people at Goddard Space Flight Center gave the suggestion about this superimposed position of the younger craters on the older craters which are appearing as if googly eyes are positioned on the older crater rim. In the present case two smaller crater shadows give the appearance of googly eyes. In its appearance these have resemblance to Cookie-loving monster of Sesame Street.

Cookie Monster

Majority of the people feel enjoyed by looking at the image producing the strange effect felt by seeing something familiar in this case is the cookies and their salivating power. The way scientists are observing the image governed by Law of Superimposition, which helps them to conclude which of the surface is predate or postdate in respect to others for arriving at better evaluation of geological history related to different regions of Mercury as interpreted in the lingo used at Sesame Street what has come first?
