Hungama Digital Partners With US Based Adsmobi In Order To Monetize Mobile Inventory

Hungama Digital has entered into a partnership with US based mobile media buying company Adsmobi in order to sell its mobile inventory in India, according to a report in TechCircle. The partnership will entail that monetization of Adsmobi’s premium inventory in India by getting more Indian advertisers onto the platform. Hungama Digital will also take care of campaign management on Adsmobi’s behalf.

Adsmobi is reported to serve 40 billion plus ad requests on a monthly basis across 230+ countries. They also have been reported to have links with 60000+ mobile app developers which gives Adsmobi a rich inventory which could be exploited by advertisers in the country. Hungama Digital has partnerships with 400 content creators and has a good penetration into platforms like Mobile, Internet, IPTV, DTH and Apps. Their website also says that they have managed altogether 2000 mobile and digital campaigns across the world.

Siddhartha Roy, COO, consumer business & allied services, Hungama Digital Media commented,

“With our partnership with Adsmobi Inc, we will be able to provide the platform to enable agencies and brands to develop mobile rich campaigns.”

Ramy Yared, co-founder and MD, Adsmobi Inc spoke about the partnership.

“Adsmobi Inc generated increasing revenues and ties to advertisers in the mobile advertising industry of India. It is one of our core emerging markets”.

The mobile app advertising segment in India is generating quite a bit of Interest from foreign (specifically US) companies. We just reported the India launch of Exponential Interactive’s AppSnack, a service which helps serve rich media ads in mobile apps. These developments are tied with the increase of mobile Internet and app usage in the country. India is a big untapped market for mobile advertising and many advertising companies are realizing it.
