Instagram Pics Make Bob Dylan Lyric Video Come Alive

Many musicians have mimicked the 1967 music video “Subterranean Homesick Blues,” in which Bob Dylan holds cue cards emblazoned with his song’s lyrics. To pay homage to the memorable video, Sony Music Canada asked Instagram users to snap their favorite lyrics from Dylan’s new song “Duquesne Whistle.”
The #DylanLyricPhotos Instagram campaign spawned the above lyric video.
Dylan is one of several artists who have asked fans this year to submit Instagram photos for possible inclusion in their lyric videos, including singers Rufus Wainwright, Ellie Goulding and Jason Mraz.
