(Before It's News)

Kaspersky Company is in plans to create its own operating system for large scale industries. It will be an extra secure operating system. According to Eugene Kaspersky sensitive installations like power plants and communication facilities are usually poorly protected against malware like Flame. He is worried that a cyber-attack in such facilities could have catastrophic consequences especially to the ordinary citizens. It is in this mind that he and his company has decided to create new software.

Kaspersky

Kaspersky, who created Kaspersky Antivirus, says the operating System will run on a custom made core that will not run any “strange” software. There won’t be power blackouts just because someone decided to play music in his office from an infected drive. Though he doesn’t have details as to when the software will reach the market, he says that it won’t be an open- source process.

To keep its technology safe, some parts of the software will remain confidential to protect it from terrorists and other cyber criminals who undermine the efforts of software developers. This is according to Eugene Kaspersky.
