Microsoft reveals Surface for Windows RT Prices

Microsoft has at last agreed to talk about the price of its new tablet, Surface for Windows RT, which is expected to be available for purchase in 10 days time. It has also agreed to release some other technical details which it had withheld since June including its availability. Microsoft has officially that their 10.6 Inch Arm-Powered tablet will be available starting today at 9am for preorder. This was after their site prematurely went live with the news. The device shall go up for $499 for the 32GB version and $599 for the 32 GB model that shall have a black Touch Cover.

The price quoted does not include the touch cover. This cover with its pressure sensitive keys shall be sold for $120 a little bit cheaper than the traditional type keyboard which goes for $130. However consumers have an option of buying it with the 64GB tablet for a whopping $699 for the packaged deal.

From late October the device shall be available on Microsoft’s website and at Microsoft Store near you. This shall be after surface shipping it.
