The new MB-W900X-SH from Mouse Computer

Here is a smart looking laptop from Mouse Computer, it is the MB-W900X-SH and it promises to be a powerful desktop replacement, featuring a 17.3 inch display, Intel Core i7 processor, Nvidia graphics and a nice sized 1 TB hard drive. It seems that Mouse Computer has put everything they could into this laptop, while keeping the price down at reasonable level of just under $1,700, which for a laptop of this standard is not a bad price tag. The only downside for the MB-W900X-SH is the brand as Mouse Computer are not that popular outside of Japan.
Time to see what the MB-W900X-SH has on offer, it comes with a 17.3 inch screen in glare type LCD with Full HD back light offering a 1920 × 1080 of pixel resolutions and a built in 2.0 mega pixel web camera. It is running Microsoft Windows 7 64-bit operating system and powered by the high end Intel Core i7-3630QM processor with a clock speed of 2.40 GHz up to 3.40 GHz at four cores with turbo boost and 6 MB support Smart Cache. There is support from the Intel HM77 Express chipset and the video graphics are coming from NVIDIA GeForce GTX660M and Intel HD Graphics 4000 with NVIDIA Optimus technology.
With up to 24 GB of PC3-12800 DDR3 SODIMM memory available, a 1 TB Serial ATAII 5400 rpm hard disk drive (HDD) with a connection via Serial ATAII and a 120 GB Intel solid state drive (SSD) 520 Series from Serial ATAIII via 6 Gbps Serial ATAIII connection. For networking, there is the 1000 Base-T/100 Base-TX/10 BASE-T (RJ-45), Bluetooth V4.0 + LE and the IEEE 802.11 b / g / n wireless LAN. Other features include the handy multi card reader, one standard style USB 2.0 port, three super fast connecting USB 3.0 ports and there is a HDMI & rear D-sub display out feature.
As for the size of the MB-W900X-SH it measures up at 413 mm (W) x 277.5 mm (D) x 17.5 mm to 44 mm (H) and it weighs in at 3.2 kilos with the built in lithium-ion battery pack that Mouse Computer say should be good for up to three hours of power. Mouse Computer has priced this MB-W900X-SH laptop at $1,660 to start off with.
