Archos Officially announces its New Tablet
They were beaten to this announcement months ago when the FCC has some issue with the Archos 80 Cobalt but they have use their Facebook page to officially announce the addition of this 8 inch screen, 1.6GHz CPU and 1GB RAM tablet to its range of devices.
The Wi-Fi-only tablet comes with a screen that is filled with 1024×768 pixels and supports video playback of 1080p. It also has 8GB of on board storage and it can be expanded using a microSD card (up to 64GB). the back camera is 2-megapixels while the front is 0.3. The tablet is 0.48 inches or 12mm thick and weighs 1 pounds or 470g.
It has been announced but the release date has not yet been made known but it is expected to be soon and the price is also expected to be fewer than two hundred dollars as if it’s more, potential buyers might just decide to forgo it and go for the more famous Nexus 7.
