Employee Lost Device That Connects To Your Network? Delete Their Device. Don’t Fire Them.

Many employees are connecting to their desktop computers via services such as LogMeIn, GoToMyPC, PC Anywhere or other solutions.

What happens when someone loses their device? Sure they can delete their remote software or accessibility on the host computer – but LogMeIn has a better solution.

First of all, if you’re using it’s LogMeIn Central, you have centralized management of remote logons. But what’s nice and newly announced today is that you can now completely remove the logon credentials of iOS (Apple) devices which are connecting to your network via LogMeIn.

Sounds like a small upgrade – but when an employee loses their iPad and you can delete the “iPad” from accessing your network – it’s a headache reliever for sure.

Remote computing solutions are absolutely necessary.

However, when remote services are comprised they became security nightmares. For larger small businesses which several employees accessing remote networks this scenario is even more harrowing.
