We have a pretty strong lust for 21:9 Cinema-style TVs. And while such things are insanely expensive (well, except Vizio’s) we haven’t really seen many computer displays with a similar aspect ratio. But LG has one.
The LG EA93 IPS-LCD 29-inch super wide monitor is a gem of a display featuring 2,560 x 1080 resolution, dual 7-watt speakers, 300-nit brightness, 178-degree viewing angles, DVI-D dual port, two HDMI ports, a Display Port, 3x USB 3.0 ports and audio/headphone in jacks. Hardware aside, LG has bundled software along with the display that chops up your desktop into four equally sized sections to further maximize productivity fun.
So just how much will this display of displays cost? Not much – $633 USD. Availability within Korea is slated for this month while the rest of the world is scheduled to follow sometime thereafter.
