Western Digital has loaded the memory of its bootable external device ‘Thunderbolt’ with some more terabytes and has shifted its focus on the ‘My Book Studio’ line to increase its memory too. The much awaited external hard drive USB 3.0 with the latest model of 4TB capacity is out in the market.

Time Machine compatibility, WD Security and a warranty period of 3 years are some of the highlights of the new Studio line drives. 1TB, 2TB, 3TB, 4TB drives are priced $159.99, $189.99, $239.99, $299.99 respectively. The Desktop external hard drives USB 2.0 and FireWire 800 models will still be on sale for the diehard loyalists.
