1. NavBar Sections
So while Pagelines has always supported multiple navigation bars, the NavBar feature is a great addition. You can choose from either Fixed navigation bar (which will remain at the top of your screen, regardless of how far down your readers scroll) or Standard which is set into the page and moves with the page.
How to Insert Fixed NavBar in Your Blog: To insert a Fixed NavBar into your site, you can follow these two steps:
- Inside of the WordPress dashboard, go to the Appearance tab and click on Menu. Here you will create the menu (links) that will show in your navigation bar. Be sure to create a new menu, not just editing an existing one.
- Inside of the WordPress dashboard, go to the Pagelines tab and click on Site Options and then NavBar. Check the box “Enable Fixed Navigation Bar”. You can either use the default theme or choose from one of 5 preset colors/layouts. Lastly, you’ll need to “Select the WordPress Menu for the NavBar(s)”. Click Save Options and your new navigation menu is live.
How to Insert Standard NavBar in Your Blog: Very similar to inserting a Fixed NavBar, there is just one more step. Inside of the WordPress dashboard, go to the Pagelines tab and click on Drag & Drop. Then choose the Header template area. You can drag and drop the NavBar section into the active sections. Your changes are automatically saved. 2. Masthead and Hero Sections
