Possible Android 4.2 OTA Update Floating Around for the Galaxy Nexus
On the eve of the Nexus 4 and Nexus 10 being released, many of us are waiting for the “coming soon” tab to drop from both devices at the Play Store. It is pretty exciting stuff, but another little exciting piece of Nexus news might be floating out there in social media world. There have been reports from Galaxy Nexus users saying they have received an Android 4.2 update for their phone! I do not think anyone saw this coming. Screenshots have been taken, but who knows if it is just some people playing a cruel trick on us, or if it is indeed, for real. This being on the GSM versions of the Galaxy Nexus, of course, Verizon users will have to wait. So if you have a Galaxy Nexus, check your phone’s “check updates” menu and see if there is a nice surprise waiting for you in there. Please confirm to us if it is there.
