The Samsung Galaxy Premiere: Putting Samsung Back on Track
They may have gotten it wrong with the Samsung S III Mini but it seems that Samsung is ready to correct that impression with the much talked about Samsung Galaxy Premier. It retains the external look of the Galaxy S III and trims it here and there so that it could appeal to more people than the S III did. The screen has been reduced to 4.65 inches although it retained the 720 x 1280 AMOLED panel, dual-core 1.5 GHz TI OMAP 4470 processor, Android Jelly Bean OS and 1GB RAM.
The cameras were also left untouched; 8-megapixel for the back facing and 1.9 for the front facing cameras. It also has Bluetooth 4.0 an NFC.
The device has been officially announced in Ukraine alone and given a November release date over there with a price of 5,555 Hryvynias (about $680).
