(Before It's News)

The 21.5 inch iMac is the latest to come into the market and it comes with some new and somewhat surprising features. One of the surprising elements about the new iMac product is that the LCD and glass is bound to the rest of the frame with glue.

Magnets have been used to do this in previous models which made them quite easy to handle especially when it came to repairs. But with this new approach, repairs could become quite difficult as they have been somewhat fused together so much so that if something goes wrong with one you may have to replace both. The 21.5 inch iMac comes with two internal microphones at the rear and a 2.5 inch HGST/Western Digital hard drive. If there is indeed a downside to this new line, it would have to be that the way it was built would make repairs quite tricky to handle.
