Even with other large electronics/mobile trade shows and more recently, an effort by consumer electronics companies to host their own individual events, CES is still the place to start the year off with a bang for thousands of companies. And after a few years of recession, CES has steamed ahead the last couple of years to again set records.

Today the CEA (governing body behind CES) announced that, unsurprisingly, CES 2013 will be the biggest yet with over 3,000 exhibiters showing off their latest products over 1.87 million square feet of floor space. On top of that, CES 2013 will be the birthplace and official reveal of over 20,000 new products – a gadget lovers dream.

What’s also worth noting is just how big CES is becoming for car manufacturers as cars get smarter and more gadget filled. In total, over 100,000 square feet of show floor space will go solely to automotive companies like Audi, Ford, Kia and (many) more.

Besides electronic ridden cars and more gadgets than the eye can count, ton of information and interactive panels will be available with 300 different sessions and 800 speakers.

Gadgetsteria will be on the ground at CES tirelessly (literally, we don’t sleep) scoping out the show floor and showing you as much as we can! Check back soon!
