(Before It's News)

ELK GROVE, Calif., December 20, 2012 – Network Inventory Advisor, the acclaimed network inventory software app by ClearApps, announced the release of version 4.0 today, with over 25 new features and improvements.

Network Inventory Advisor 4.0 has a completely redesigned interface, enabling users to streamline their network inventory tasks, increase speed, and improve data management. The all-new report navigation sidebar provides fast and accurate access to any information on network nodes. Network Inventory Advisor 4 is completely FREE for home users inventorying their households with up to 10 computers and endless custom nodes!

In addition, version 4.0 also features a complete software license audit. A list of all detectable license codes (including most of the products by Autodesk, Microsoft, Corel and Adobe) is produced for each computer on the network. Licensing reports can be generated for a single node or an entire network. There’s also a new software report that includes the license codes as well.

Network management is also improved. Client data can now be isolated by networks inventoried, and switching between networks is easy and quick. Other changes include: export any report to PDF, search and filter nodes by name, view all hotfixes together in one report section, and quickly duplicate manual nodes, etc.

All current commercial users of Network Inventory Advisor are eligible for a 50 percent discount and will receive an email with a discount link. Any questions should be directed to ClearApps support at [email protected]

Network Inventory Advisor audits all network software and hardware simply and efficiently. It automatically discovers all network assets (including Windows, Mac OS, Linux, and SNMP-powered devices), scans them, and builds flexible network inventory reports. It provides detailed device statistics, including CPU, memory, operating system, audio & video, and peripherals, plus it tracks all installed software versions and licenses.

Network Inventory Advisor is the brainchild of ClearApps, LLC, based in Elk Grove, California. For more information visit www.clearapps.com.
