Who doesn’t want to zip around with a jet pack, Iron Man-style? A new Kickstarter project is trying to make personal flying more of a reality.
Called the Jet Vest, the personal flying belt uses micro-jet turbines instead of the traditional hydrogen peroxide rocket engines to propel users into the air for about four minutes of flight. Not only is the Jet A fuel it uses a lot safer, the cost of each flight is less pricey too: About $20 for each flight, compared to $1,200 – $1,400.
