If you’re in the market for an inexpensive dual-SIM phone that doesn’t look cheap or bad, do check out the Nokia Asha 205. It’s Nokia’s most affordable QWERTY phone at only Php2,680 and it also comes with a dedicated Facebook button making itself a target for students or people who want a quick access to their Facebook profile. This is not your run-of-the-mill ordinary QWERTY phone. Nokia also equipped this with an easy access to eBuddy Chat, Twitter, and also to Gmail so you’re just a few clicks away from your social network.
Nokia also introduced an exclusive feature called Slam and the Nokia Asha 205 is one of the first to have it. Slam allows you to share multimedia files to a nearby device that supports it (doesn’t necessarily have it installed). It uses Bluetooth so you won’t be charge for internet data, and it doesn’t require you to search and pair the other device like your regular Bluetooth. It’s not compatible with iOS and Windows Phone though.
Other key features of the Nokia Asha 205 Dual SIM include:
The new device takes full advantage of the Nokia Xpress Internet platform, which uses Nokia’s cloud technology to reduce data consumption by up to 90%, helping consumers enjoy more affordable Internet access. It also features Nokia Nearby, a web app that helps consumers discover points of interest such as restaurants, shopping and ATM close to their location.
The Nokia Asha 205 Dual SIM is available in colors Cyan, Magenta and Orange and has an SRP of Php2,680.
