(Before It's News)

The Microsoft Surface will soon have company in the Windows Tablet world. Nokia will be releasing the new Windows RT tablet – possibly at the Mobile World Congress, Feb 2013. The details of the 10 inch tablet are as follows:

  • Equipped with the Qualcomm S4 chip
  • HDMI and 2 USB ports
  • A Microsoft-like cover which clicks into place and also doubles up as a stand
  • The cover itself will have two additional USB ports and will also have an integrated battery that can power the device
  • 10 hour battery life
  • Enhanced charging speed to get to 50% charge fast

This sounds like a massive feature list that is quite intuitive and keeping the user in mind. With the success of their Lumia line of WP8 phones, will this also be a winner in the tablet market?

Unfortunately only 200,000 units are planned to start off with – to gauge the potential of the market and the response. So grab yours while stocks last.
