(Before It's News)

It was barely a few months ago that Samsung made available to developers the GSIII, an unlocked  version of its Verizon flavored flagship product. The success of that has inspired the Korean giant to repeat the strategy for its phablet. So that’s good news for developers who can now look forward to a dev edition of 16GB Galaxy Note II which will come with  all the great VZW branding that you might have come to appreciate.

Samsung Galaxy Note II

While Samsung’s website product page has already sprung alive with some specifications about the product, the company has yet to announce availability and pricing for this freed Note II. So for now all that we can share with fans is that it has a beautiful 5.5-inch HD Super AMOLED screen and comes with Android 4.1. Does not look like we will get anything more on this by Christmas this year, but that should matter not. If Christmas comes can New Year’s Day be far behind?
