‘Sly Cooper: Thieves in Time’- Compatible on PlayStation 3 and PS Vita
All the owners of Play Station 3 and PS Vita- there is some good news for you. PlayStation 3 and PS Vita will get a new game in the form ‘Sly Cooper: Thieves in Time’ from 5th February 2013.
As per the trailer of the game, the basics of Sly Cooper and his ancestry are recapped. It flits over the major characters popularized in the franchise and also the volume of the family trade secrets, ‘Th ievius Racoonus’.
But the important part missed out in the trailer is the promotional Cross-Buy given by Sony. ‘Sly Cooper: Thieves in Time’ is compatible to PS Vita and PlayStation3. The interesting feature is that you can start the game on one, save your progress and restart again from the saved point on the other.
For example if you are on the game before a date be it a lunch or a dinner, you can save up to a particular point before you leave home. When you join your friend, you can start off again from the saved point on your PS Vita. Obviously you need to sync saves between platforms.
An interesting aspect of this promotion is that you will to purchase ‘Sly Cooper: Thieves in Time’ only once. This Cross-Buy promotion will hold good for many more games. If you purchase the game for PlayStation 3 then you obtain it for no additional cost on PS Vita. The vice versa however won’t hold true.
