I was reading an interesting article about a private company installing Fast Charging stations on I-10 so that
electric vehicles could charge up when travelling between Tucson and Phoenix.
It caught my eye that the $60,000 Tesla S has a 300 mile range with a 45 minute fast charge.
Imagine being able to travel 600 miles with a 45 minute stop to charge while eating lunch.

The $60,000 model has a larger battery pack than the standard $50,000 model which has around a 200 mile range.
According to the article, it costs $13 to charge up the Tesla with the 300 mile range, and that works out to 4.3 cents per mile to drive, and you will never have to change the oil.
I have been an electrician for over 20yrs, hold a Colorado master electricians license, and I have installed many solar systems, so the anti electric car disinfo shills should know that before attemping to claim that this isn’t the way of future transportation.
