(Before It's News)

We have been hearing the frustration in all the Samsung Galaxy S III owners on the Verizon network load and clear. Doesn’t mean we can make them push it out, but we sure like to point out that they are the last ones to the show. We have heard a few mermers over the last 48 hours that have pointed to an update to Jelly Bean for you Verizon S III owners headed your way on December 14th. That would be this upcoming Friday. We have been watching and waiting for the official document of the update to hit Verizon’s support page since then. Wouldn’t you know it, Android Police beat us to the punch.

The PDF went up earlier today out lining all the wonders of Jelly Bean for the Galaxy S III. It cruises over connectivity enhancements, fixed resets with VPN clients, Google Maps enhancements and all the other goodies you would expect. Yes, Google Now is in the picture, but apparently they called it Google Plus, which could be why it was pulled down. They do state at the top of the support page that a “Software Update: Galaxy S III by Samsung – Coming Soon” Not sure if that is a recent change or not.  This update is also going to bring access to Isis Mobile Wallet too though. Not that it will do too many people any good until support rolls out to more markets, but hey, it is there and ready. Breeze through a screenshot of the enhancements and upgrade section of the PDF before it was removed below.

Assuming they pulled it down to fix the typo,  the date of Dec 14th seems pretty legitimate. Verizon tends to post up these update PDF’s a day or two prior to the roll out beginning.  However, we have seen them go up a week or more early  We will let you know when it goes live and if it is only via OTA, Kies or both. If it does hit as an OTA, remember, it can take a few weeks for everyone to get the update. Might want to start hitting the ” Software Update” button tonight, just in case.
